Titre: Ice Crystals and Snowfall at the Surface and in the Atmosphere

Résumé: In this talk, I will present you with a characterization of how snow has been studied from the ancient Chinese to the present times.
I'll first tell you why it is important to study snow/ice crystals.
I'll then discuss observations made at the surface through history and the methods used to study them.
I'll talk about Weather Modification and how it works.
I'll describe measurements made by research aircraft in clouds.
I'll then provide some data collected by earth observing satellites.
